This year's BAOMS CSG Study Day will be held on 10 December 2026 09:30-17:00 at the Medical Society of London (London W1G 9EB).
As per previous years, the CSG Study Day 2026 is aimed at BAOMS Fellows, RSPA, SSIG Leads and Deputies and Fellows in Trainings (ST3-7) and Associate Fellows.
Programme (as of 13/10/2026):
- 0900-0930: Arrival, registration and tea & coffee
- 0930-0945: Introduction to the day
- 0945-1030: Aesthetics update
- Tim Blackburn: update on ICSB board certification in facial cosmetic surgery, the new mentoring scheme, PHIN and SSIG training course in botulinum toxin for dual degree trainees. Tim will also talk about his personal evolution in brow lift and facelift surgery technique 15 mins
- Rob Laycock: challenges in setting up facial cosmetic surgery clinics (a clinic owner's perspective) 20 mins
- 1030-1130: Aesthetics in practice
- 1130-1145: Refreshment break
- 1145-1300: A 30-year reflection of providing a comprehensive dental implant MDT service in OMFS and restorative dentistry in the NHS
- 1300-1345: Lunch
- 1345-1430: Vascular Malformations – MDT management and updates
- 1430-1515: Level 2 commissioning oral surgery
- 1515-1545: Job Planning – Truths and Myths
- 1545-1600: Break
- 1600-1645: Head and Neck skin surgery delivery. The Sunderland experience.
- 1645-1700: Refreshments and end
CPD expected: 5.5 hours (under review)
