BAOMS with AAOMS Annual Scientific Meeting 3 -5 July 2019 at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, UK
- The conference will be held in conjunction with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).
- The theme of the Congress is ‘Controversies'.
Online registration for BAOMS with AAOMS Meeting 3-5 July 2019 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham is now open.
BAOMS and AAOMS members get the best rates when booking before the early fee deadline.
If you have already set up a profile in the BAOMS MeetingsNet programme (ie if you registered for last year’s BAOMS ASM) then you will need to enter your username and password for the programme. Please note that these are NOT the same as your login details for the BAOMS members’ area of the website.
If you have forgotten your BAOMS MeetingsNet programme username or password you can click the Profile button to open a new window, and then enter your email to be sent a reminder of your Username and Password.
The full preliminary programme will be available by the end of March 2019. We are currently finalising the selection of free paper and ePoster presentations.
The main programme begins on Wednesday 3 July with one masterclass, BAOMS member meetings, the Norman Rowe Lecture, Awards ceremony and BAOMS AGM in the morning and free papers and ePosters, keynotes and a symposium in the afternoon followed by an early evening welcome reception. On Thursday 4 July there will be early morning masterclasses, keynotes, symposia, free papers and ePosters and the Annual Dinner (this year an Indian theme is planned). On Friday 5 July 2019 there will be early morning masterclasses, keynotes, the President’s Lecture, symposia, free paper and ePosters and the meeting will finish at 4 pm.
A full medical exhibition will run alongside the conference programme and this year KLS Martin are the platinum sponsors. A meeting mini site / app will also be available for all registered delegates to download (approximately 2 weeks before the meeting).
In addition there are several pre-meetings which can be booked now. Please note that the BAOMS office is not directly organising these pre-meetings.

An SAS / Associate Fellows Study Day (aimed at SAS grades but open to all membership categories) is also planned on 2 July 2019 at the Jury’s Inn, Birmingham. This is organised by BAOMS and can be booked online via the main meeting registration form at BAOMS MeetingsNet programme A draft programme will be available shortly. Places are limited so please book as soon as possible.
Overnight accommodation during the conference can be booked directly or via our accommodation agency Registration does not include accommodation.
In addition there will be a golf tournament on 2 July 2019 at the Belfry organised by the local team.

Golf: Tuesday 2nd July at The Belfry
As part of the joint BAOMS/AAOMS Meeting in Birmingham this year we have the pleasure of inviting you to be part of a golf day on Tuesday 2nd July at The Belfry.
It will take the form of an 18-hole, four-ball, match play tournament on the Brabazon Course which has hosted the Ryder Cup on four occasions. The day would include breakfast, a round of golf and lunch with prize-giving at the close of play.
